Reiji Kurose is the main character of the series, who plans on leaving the town but is conflicted by the circumstances he is facing.

He is a teenager stuck in his hometown where he sees himself living a meaningless life. He lives with his Mother, his shut-in older Brother, and his Grandma with dementia. He has a scar above his left eyebrow.

His fate takes a strange turn after meeting the popular idol Nagi Aoe.
